Celebrate the Seasons with Us...

There's time to watch the season's turn at Renfrew Camping. During opening in May the trees are budding out with young Spring leaves, the air is fresh, and the Nine Mile River is running high with new plants & animals.  As Summer arrives, the pool is opened and the River is warm enough for swimming, while our lane way erupts with hedges full of bright roses.  We celebrate Easter, Christmas and Halloween, until finally Labour Day fireworks wind the summer down towards the turning leaves and family Thanksgiving in Fall before closing in October.

We have a lot of fun at Renfrew Camping.  The river is perfect for kids to find out about minnows, frogs, and other freshwater small fry.  The stars of the river are the turtles, which always attract a crowd when they make an appearance.  Many take to the river in canoes and kayaks to try their hand at fishing.

If you're a fresh water person, there's a decent swimming hole just a short walk from the campground.  Swim with the fishies!
